Preprints in Helmholtz - Slides published
At the latest since 2020 Preprints are becoming increasingly important as a scientific communication channel. They are also increasingly coming into focus outside of medical and health research, as well as physics which historically has an affinity with preprints.
In this context, the Helmholtz Open Science Office invited to an internal online event on 15.03.2023, which was dedicated to the topic of preprints and their possible role also for the Centres of the Helmholtz Association.
The virtual event “Preprints in Helmholtz” gave the almost 40 participants a first opportunity for exchange between the Centres. Problem areas, needs for action and best practices in dealing with preprints were discussed/ identified and awareness for the topic was created.
