Working Group Open Science

It is the concern of the Open Science Working Group, in close cooperation with the Helmholtz Open Science Coordination Office², to support researchers in developing lines of orientation.

Self-conception of the Working Group Open Science of the Helmholtz Association

The development of open science in the research areas of the Helmholtz Association is at different stages, depending on the discipline and publication culture. The Helmholtz Association is called upon to help shaping the ongoing cultural shift from closed to open in accordance with academia.

Task Group Open Access Transformation

The Task Group Open Access Transformation is a joint Task Group of the Working Group Open Science and the Working Group Library and Information Management of the Helmholtz Association and is guided by the Helmholtz Open Science Office. The Task Group works on supporting measures for the Open Access transformation of the Helmholtz Association.

Task Group Research Software

The Task Group Research Software of the Working Group Open Science of the Helmholtz Association is guided by the Helmholtz Open Science Office. The Task Group is dedicated to the topic area of open research software and addresses, among other things, the aspects of software development and documentation practices, licensing, and other legal topics and guidelines.
