Open-Access-Transformation

On 24 February 2021, the Task Group Open Access Transformation held an internal workshop for the Helmholtz Libraries organized by the Helmholtz Open Science Office on the topic of “Open Access Transformation in the Helmholtz Association” with almost 40 participants.

Topics such as Plan S, future DEAL contracts, collaborative infrastructures for Open Access funding, licensing and publication costs as well as perspectives on cost reallocation were discussed in keynote speeches.

The forum accompanied the further Open Access transformation and provided an impetus for further exchange opportunities on Open Access transformation at Helmholtz.
